Find Blog Post Ideas Using Google Alerts
In between working a full time job and running my own small business as a Concierge I also have a need to run this blog. Freeman Legacy LLC helps to generate some passive income and allows me to network with other internet entrepreneurs.
But, I have to admit there are those days when I struggle to come up with blog post topics and sit for hours with a blank Word Doc.
Then I discovered Google Alerts.
Google Alerts is an application you will find in your Google Dashboard and it allows you to have relevant blog and news articles sent directly to your email inbox. It simple to set up, all you have to do is fill in the blanks with
Search Terms
Type of Articles you want, like blogs, websites, video etc
How often you want the alerts sent, I have them sent weekly.
How many updates per email you want either up to 20 or up to 50
For instance I have alerts set up
My alerts are for anything regarding Concierge services, and another regarding Networking and yet another sends me information regarding Small Business and so on.
Once, I receive my requested alerts I read through them and see where I can expound on a subject or write a countering point of view. Google Alerts are a great source for ideas, but avoid simply re-writing what been read and never copy and paste another person’s work.
In conclusion
So, although you may be passionate about your blog niche and the topic you are writing about there may be those days when nothing seems to flow from you finger tips. Set up your Google Alerts and there you are bound to find something to get those creative juices flowing.

This is a very valuable tip. I want you to know that you are not alone in struggling for a blog post, I also stare at a blank doc for long minutes without anything coming up of my mind.

Sometimes it is a struggle to come up with content that isn’t already out there.
I use google alerts but i have not used it for finding good article topics and keywords, i will put this idea into action soon, thanks
