It is Global Entrepreneurship Week!?!
The panel spoke about a few of the key points of thoughts that every business owner, young and old; should follow:
Some Rules are meant to be broken-Don’t stick so closely to the rules and procedures you have set for your company that you risk losing business because of it.
Admit when you don’t know everything-it is best to seek the expertise of others that have already accomplished the same or similar goals. No point in reinventing the wheel, just ask the ‘guy’ how ‘he’ did it.
Customer Research is overrated- research is important, but don’t rely so heavily on it that you don’t interact with your customer to really find out what they want.
“It Ain’t Nothin’ Y’all Can’t Do”-Don’t believe that success can only happen to certain people. With hard work, drive and determination you too can be just as successful.
This is my paraphrasing of the article and how I interpreted it. You may have an entirely different take on it.
What drives you to succeed? Do you have any advice that you would like to share? Take a moment to let me know what you think

Very true, we need to be able to be flexible otherwise we might miss out on a lot of opportunities.
Good feedback, I agree with them all actually.
Being a successful entrepreneur certainly requires breaking a few rules – In a good way of course, i.e thinking outside of the box and going against the grain.
Another driver of success is following your passion and researching your market – basically learning from the best in the game.

The very first thing you have listed is the number one reason I like taking on franchises, they have no ability to make decision calls for customer sakes.

Many Franchises stifle the owners’ ability to be creative and diminish their flexibility. They operate in a very cookie cutter manner and that drives away current and prospective customers.
