What’s In Your Blogging Environment?
Do you blog at a desk, on the sofa, in a lounge chair on the patio? Where do you blog? At home, office, internet café or on the beach? What do you listen to whilst blogging? Is the TV running or are you listening to your favorite CD or Ipod Tunes?
I know that’s an awful lot of questions right off the bat, but I really want to know how blogging zones vary from one blogger to another.
Normally I am either sitting at my desk where I have multi-screens, three to be exact. I love having the ability to move websites, Word docs, WordPress Admin, Blog Previews around on the screens, without have to click a bunch of different browser tabs.
I also blog from home via laptop while channel surfing on the sofa, but I find I don’t get much done though so I’ll move to the dinning table or lock myself in my home office. In the crazy event that my internet conks out I will go to my local coffee spot and use their free WiFi, but that usually turns into a big time waster because I tend to do more web browsing and people watching then writing.
People watching can spark great ideas for blog posts too, so I watch how the cashier and customers interact. Check out the surroundings to see if the business is running smoothly and geared towards customer satisfaction. Think about ways I would do it better or find really good take away ideas for my business.

I do my blogging mostly from my bedroom as most of them have quoted. But when in office I do it at my work place. But mostly its in my bedroom its gives me ample time to think and rework on my blog….

I am mainly in the living room if I am at home, but like you I blog at work as well in between projects. I find I am in a more focused and business mindset when in office.
I prefer to blog at a surrounding that’s pleasant, comfortable and inspiring. It could be my living room, restaurant or Starbucks. Rest my eyes while enjoying the breeze while at the beach, taking a few walk and sit down to enjoy the view and switch on my laptop at the park… mobile is great. Anything to trigger the creativity.

That’s awesome Ching Ya, sounds like you have found the best blogging environment, I envious that’s for sure. I would love to be able to blog beach side. One day, one day I will live the Dot Com Lifestyle full time.
I just blogging at the home with my PC..
Blogging is just another hobbies for but I want to turn it for my side income…
To keep motivated for me is comment and when I’m boring I just play guitar and sing..
It will help me to get idea.

I generally do my writing from my desk in my kitchen. If I’m trying to reply to mail or look at comments, or just get out and be social, then I often work from my laptop in my bedroom while the tv is on for background noise.
I like to listen to music at times, more when I’m feeling unmotivated.
It’s amazing how much more mobile we are with laptop in hand these days which gives up the ability like Ching Ya was saying to blog at the beach.

I used to blog from my bedroom when I had a TV in there, but then I found I would stay in bed alllllllllllll day on the weekends. Not good for the waistline if I don’t have a race to train for.
Right now I’m blogging from bed. When it’s cold out I like the comfort of all my blankets. But I also blog from the car while on my iPhone (when I’m NOT driving!) or from anywhere else via my Mini, which has special software just for letting me write, save, and publish my blog posts. So… everywhere?!
